 It's an open secret, that Berlin is heading for its reputation as the gay capital of Europe - and the city is well on its way. Since the 80's, Berlin has undergone a tremendous transformation to an international metropolitan that can compete in terms of culture, art and scene life. 

Berlin is a large city with several gay centres spread across the city. Expect to spend some time travelling, if you stay more remotely. The main areas of interest are Nollendorfplatz area with many trendy and more  cruisy locations; Berlin Kreuzberg hosting a more alternative scene and mostly more laid back. Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin Mitte, which is also close to the museums island.
